K-State releases fall 2008 scholarship listing PDF Print E-mail

More than 5,000 Kansas State University students, including several in Miami County, have been awarded academic scholarships for the 2008-09 school year. In all, students received nearly $14.8 million in scholarships.

Most of the scholarships are made possible through donations and gifts to the Kansas State University Foundation.

Miami County K-State students receiving scholarships totaling more than $1,000 include:

    Louisburg: Katrene Bormann, Baeten Farm Scholarship, Nancy Landon Kassebaum Scholarship and Leadership Scholarship; Courtney Brink, Activity Scholarship; Hannah Brink, Leadership Scholarship; Sarah Brink, Arts and Sciences Fund for Excellence and John W. and Hazel M. Jenner Scholarship; Megan Coffroth, Agricultural Enhancement Fund and Leadership Scholarship; Erin Gettler, Arts and Sciences Fund for Excellence, Kansas State University Chapter/Blue Key Scholarship, The Irvin R. Ricklefs Memorial Scholarship, June D. Hull Sherrid Cancer Center Scholarship and Education Fund and The Wallace Memorial Scholarship; Trevor Hurt, Gladwin A.
