 The parents of Alli Garrison and Robby Manthei announce that their children are engaged to be married. The bride-elect is the daughter of George and Davina Garrison of Paola. She is a 2008 graduate of Pittsburg State University. She teaches eighth grade language arts at Trailridge Middle School in Shawnee Mission. The groom-to-be is the son of Ron and Tammy Manthei of Shawnee. He is a 2008 graduate of Pittsburg State University. He is employed as a project engineer with Straub Construction. A June 20, 2009, wedding will be held in Paola.
