More than 1,300 students were candidates for degrees from Kansas State University this fall. Commencement ceremonies were Dec. 12 and 13 on the K-State campuses in Manhattan and Salina.

Area residents earning degrees are reported below.

Miami County

Bucyrus: Brandon M. Hall, bachelor of science in business administration; Christopher M. Kaufman, bachelor of science.

Louisburg:
Jerene Anne Bain, bachelor of arts and bachelor of science in elementary education; Jordan Dale Cannon, bachelor of science in milling science and management; Steven Daniel Collette, bachelor of science in business administration; Matthew L. Cooper, bachelor of science in business administration and bachelor of science.

Paola: Katie A. Gatlin, bachelor of arts; Emily Rebecca Holscher, bachelor of science in family studies and human services; Larry Levoid Buchanan, bachelor of science.
Spring Hill: Cameron R. Anderson, bachelor of science.

Linn County

La Cygne: Tyler Charles Atwood, bachelor of science in agriculture; Levi Chance Nichols, bachelor of science in agriculture.

Mound City: Jessica Marie Neises, bachelor of science in food science and industry.
