    Vicki Jolene Bruner, 51, Mound City, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at Prescott Country View Nursing Home. She is survived by her mother, Freda Bruner of Mound City; a daughter, Jami Breuel of Stilwell; and two brothers, Vance Bruner and Van Bruner, both of Mound City. Services were Saturday at First Baptist Church in Mound City. The family suggests contributions to the Vicki Bruner Memorial Fund in care of the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.     Donald Padgett, 69, Roanoke Park, Calif., died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at his home. He grew up in the Osawatomie area and is a 1956 graduate of Osawatomie High School. Services are pending.

   Eli Robert Bodine, 87, Paola, died at Osawatomie Life Care Center. Visitation will be at Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, 305 N. Pearl St., (913) 294-2372, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Paola Cemetery.

   Roy L. Taylor, 91, formerly of Paola, died in Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, 305 N. Pearl St., (913) 294-2372. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by burial at Paola Cemetery.
