The community is invited to help save a life Monday. The Louisburg High School Leo Club and STAR Warriors are helping sponsor a community blood drive from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday in the auxiliary gym at the school, 202 Aquatic Drive. Through Kansas City, Mo.-based Community Blood Center, donors are able to schedule an appointment anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and give blood. To register, go to www.savealifenow.org and enter the sponsor code “louisburglions”. All registered donors will receive a free T-shirt at the blood drive. Anyone who is healthy, at least 16 years old and weighs at least 115 pounds may donate blood every 56 days.
