The number of Barracuda participants tripled the Torpedo squad, which would explain the near 400-point victory at the Louisburg Aquatic Center. So, it was all about competing against itself and Louisburg put up some good times in the process. Louisburg had three five-gold medal winners during the meet and two came in the 9- 10-year-old division. Logan Johnsen and Mason Koechner each won five events, while Josh Grenell won five events for the 15-and-over boys. Koechner won the 50-meter freestyle in 42.09 seconds, the 50-meter butterfly in 52.50 seconds and the 100-meter individual medley in 1 minute, 48.38 seconds. Koechner, along with Ryan Riese, Austin Burns and Zach Waite took first in the 100 medley relay (1:36.39) and the same team also finished first in the 100 freestyle relay (1:27.63). Burns also won the 50 breaststroke in 59.5 seconds. On the girls side, Johnsen also won three individual events and two relays. Johnsen took gold in the 50 butterfly (41.88), 50 breaststroke (49.16) and the 100 IM (1:23.40). Johnsen joined Kadisyn Kircher, Rachel Brock and Reilly Alexander to win the 100 medley relay and Grace Rolofson teamed with Johnsen, Kircher and Brock to win the 100 freestyle. Grenell won the 50 freestyle (29.85), 50 butterfly (32.59) and 50 backstroke (38.35) and later Max Wallerstedt, Mason Whaley and Quinn Morse helped Grenell take the 200 medley relay (2:22.92) and Nick Klein, Grenell, Wallerstedt and Whaley won the 200 freestyle relay (2:06.85). Matthew McIntyre won three golds in the 8-and-under class after he won the 25 freestyle (33.37), 25 breaststroke (31.62) and 100 IM (2:21.75). Kiefer Tucker won the 25 freestyle in 23.5 seconds and Cole Williams took gold in the 25 backstroke (28.03). In the 11-12 division, Nathan Moore, Tanner Myers, Jayme Shoemaker and Adam Youngworth won gold in the 200 medley relay (3:01.31). Youngworth also went on to win the 50 freestyle (37.12) and Moore took the 50 butterfly (42.85) and 50 backstroke (43.56). Myers won the gold in the 50 breaststroke (48.63) and the 200 IM in 3:36.91. Michael Zalenski, Zach Minor, Matthew Parodi and Christopher Dallimore won the 200 freestyle relay (2:42.95). Jeremy Grenell, Caleb Shreckengaust, Jack Rittinghouse and Colin Dallimore helped the Barracudas to a gold in the 200 medley relay to gold in the 13-14 division and Alex Fish replaced Grenell to help the team to a gold in the 200 freestyle relay. Dallimore took the 50 freestyle in 29.78 seconds and Jeremy Grenell took the 50 butterfly (35.84) and the 200 IM (2:52.81). Garrett Wilder won the 50 backstroke (37.25) and 50 breaststroke (37.5). Morse took the 50 breaststroke in the 15-and-over in 45.68 seconds and Whaley won the 200 IM in 2:57.68. Madelynn Prettyman won four golds in the 8-and-under girls class, including two relays. Prettyman, Molly Rison, Katie McIntyre and Erin Lemke won the 100 medley relay (1:42.84) and the same team took gold in the 100 freestyle relay (1:41.25). Prettyman also took the 25 backstroke (22.75) and the 100 IM (1:52.35). Teammate Katie McIntyre also won the 25 butterfly in 26.28 seconds and the 25 breaststroke in 26.09 seconds. In the 9-10 class, Rachel Brock won gold in the 50 freestyle (42.41) and the 50 backstroke (49.69). Alexandra Aye, Megan Lemke, Sarah Edmonds and Bailey Alexander won the 200 medley relay (3:31.25) in the 11-12 division, while Hanna Hull, Abigail Key, Natalie Moore and Alexander took the 200 freestyle relay (2:52.04). Key also won the 50 freestyle (36.87) and 50 butterfly (44.72). Edmonds took the 50 breaststroke (53.72), 50 backstroke (50.69) and 200 IM (3:49.72) to lead the 11-12 class. Lexie Whaley, Shelby Domann, Chelsea Fleming and Kieran Bradley won the 200 medley relay (2:53.72), while Bradley, Rachel Price, Tessa McLelland and Michelle Sullivan took gold in the 200 freestyle relay (2:43.62). Domann also won the 50 freestyle in 35.63 seconds, 200 IM (3:34.53) and 50 breaststroke (48.09). Bradley finished first in the 50 backstroke (46.44). In the 15-and-over division, Kelsey Coffroth, Kelsey Farrow, Kelsey Kattau and Jane Wallerstedt took the 200 medley relay (2:51.91), while Melissa Parodi, Kelsey Dallimore, Coffroth and Wallerstedt won the freestyle relay (2:25.59). Kelsey Dallimore took the 50 freestyle (37.13) and 50 backstroke (42.84), Coffroth won the 50 butterfly in 42.31 seconds, while Farrow won the 50 breaststroke in 49.16 seconds.
