Computer classes set to begin in July PDF Print E-mail

Louisburg Library’s series of computer classes begins again July 10, and this session will feature classes covering the basic use of a computer and several programs, as well as using one of the library’s genealogy search databases, HeritageQuest.

All classes begin at 9 a.m., last about two hours and are at the library, 206 S. Broadway St.

Basic computer skills 2: July 17

Basic computer skills 3: July 24

Basic Microsoft Word: July 31

Basic Internet: Aug. 7

Know Your Library: Aug. 14

HeritageQuest: Aug. 28

Intermediate Microsoft Word: Sept. 4

Basic Microsoft Publisher: Sept. 11

Basic Microsoft Excel: Sept. 25

Basic Microsoft PowerPoint: Oct. 2

eBay for absolute beginners: Oct. 9

“Your Window to the Future” is for anyone interested in learning basic computer skills. Space is available for small groups of older adults, adults who have little to no computer experience, parents educating their own children, and middle and high school students accompanied by an adult.

Classes are free, but reservations must be made by noon the day before the class. Two people must enroll for a class to take place. For more information, call the library at 837-2217.
