 Leland and Peggy York will celebrate the 60th anniversary of their marriage with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church, 406 S. Vine St., Louisburg.They were married June 12, 1949, in Lawrence. Since Leland was in the Air Force, they lived in various states throughout their life. They returned to Kansas in 1970, living in Osage City, Kan., and operating a dairy farm until 1982, when they moved to Louisburg. Helping them celebrate will be their children, Sandra Kittson of Ottawa, Daniel York and wife Marty of Drexel, Mo., Darrell York and wife Regina of Bucyrus, Gale York and wife Candy of Albuquerque, N.M.; Wayne York of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Barbara Phillips and husband Bryan of Quenemo, Kan. The Yorks have 14 grandchildren. Friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration. Cards may be sent to the couple at 25695 Spring Valley Road, Louisburg, KS 66053.
