Kasey Lewer and Travis Detherage of Louisburg announce their engagement and intent to be married.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Charles and Linda Lewer of Louisburg. She is a 2005 graduate of Louisburg High School and attended Johnson County Community College. She is a production coordinator for Anthem Media Group.

Her future husband is the son of Randy and Robin Detherage of Louisburg. He is a 1998 graduate of Louisburg High School. He is employed as an analyzer tech for WaterOne.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 24 in Olathe.
