The East Central Kansas Opportunity Corp. will distribute food items to Miami County commodity participants Tuesday according to the following schedule:

Louisburg
10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Louisburg Senior Center, 504 S. Metcalf Road.

Paola
9 to 10:30 a.m., Paola Senior Citizens Center, 121 W. Wea St.

Osawatomie
9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., American Legion post, 700 Seventh St.

10 to 11 a.m., Osawatomie Court Apartments, 405 Carr Ave.
For more information, contact Anne Smith, human services coordinator, at the Miami County ECKAN Center in the organization’s new location at 1004 N. Pearl St., Paola, or by phone at (913) 294-5130.

Low-income Miami County residents also can vote Tuesday for representation on ECKAN’s board of directors. ECKAN clients are eligible to vote if they are 18 years of age or older and a low-income resident of Miami County.

Ballots will be available Tuesday at the same locations and times of the food distribution to commodity participants.
