Malarie White of Aurora, Colo., and Zach Ostmeyer of Stilwell exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 19, 2009, at Stockton Lake in Stockton, Mo. The bride is the daughter of Bill and Kennett White of Bucyrus. Her husband is the son of Roger and Christy Ostmeyer of Cleveland, Mo. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. David Collum. The color theme of the wedding was truffle brown and rose petal pink. Music was provided by Mary Ostmeyer on piano, Ryan White on guitar and Aimee Noel as the soloist. “When You Say Nothing at All” was a featured song. The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with a beaded bodice and A-line skirt flowing into a chapel-length train with crystal beading. The fingertip veil was ivory with crystal teardrop beading held in place by a crystal-adorned tiara. Her garter was made for her by her grandmother, Pat Ashmore. It was made out of her mother’s wedding dress and veil and her grandmother’s veil. Sewn onto the garter was a cross that had been given to her mother by her grandmother. Also sewn on was a kokopelli charm to represent joy, which is the bride’s middle name. Kennett White served as her daughter’s matron of honor. She wore a truffle colored dress with a two-piece jacket. Bridesmaids were Emily Hoffman, Debbie Parkhill and Jody Hamilton. Kenzee Allen, the bride’s cousin, was a junior bridesmaid. The attendants wore truffle-colored dresses with rose petal colored underskirts and sashes. Rylee White, a cousin of the bride, was the flower girl, and Camden White, a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. The groom’s brother, Nick Ostmeyer, was his best man. Groomsmen were Travis Upah, Matt Ostmeyer, brother of the groom, and Brian Piasecki. Ushers were Ryan White, Drew White and Jacob White, all brothers of the bride. The wedding was held outdoors, and it rained. A reception took place at the Orleans Trail Resort at Stockton Lake. They took a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. Mrs. Ostmeyer is a 2003 graduate of Louisburg High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kansas. She is employed at Jackson National Life Insurance Co. in Denver. Her husband is a 2004 graduate of Blue Valley High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Kansas. He is self-employed. The couple will make their home in Colorado.
