Melissa Ann West of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Thomas Andrew Smith of St. Louis, Mo., are engaged and will be married Nov. 7.

The bride-to be is the daughter of Shelly and Larry Chapman of Louisburg and Wayne and Judy West of Springfield, Mo. She attended Willard High School and Drury College in Springfield where she earned a degree in accounting. She is employed as an auditor for KPMG in St. Louis.

Her fiance is the son of Ed and Mary Beth Smith of St. Louis. He attended St. Louis University High School and Pratt Institute in New York. He holds a degree in architecture. He is an architect with Benham Companies in St. Louis.

A wedding will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church in Richmond Heights, Mo., followed by a reception at Windows off Washington in St. Louis.
