Mr. and Mrs. John Dakin will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows and a reception following at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Drexel, Mo., United Methodist Church, 304 E. Walnut St.   John Dakin and Vera Stockebrand were married Dec. 18, 1949, in Yates Center, Kan. They made their home in the Drexel area. Mr. Dakin is a farmer and is still going strong. Mrs. Dakin is retired from public health service. Their children are hosting the anniversary celebration. They are Cee and John Kueser of Louisburg, Karl and Darla Dakin of Denver, Colo., Monica and David Higgins of Naples, Fla., Roy and Susan Dakin of Mobile, Ala., and Sam Dakin of Louisburg. They also have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
