Korobi: He hid more than 45 kg of cocaine in a special hiding place – a “secret” wall under the boiler room.

The narcotics prosecution managed to deal a major blow to a major cocaine-trafficking ring in the northern suburbs of Attica.

After an investigation, a large amount of cocaine was found in a house in Korobi, while a 45-year-old member of the ring was arrested earlier in Kifisia.

In particular, an operation was planned and executed yesterday afternoon (11-1-2024) in a house in Korobi, after a coordinated thorough investigation, as it was known from the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate. The boiler room and Home Depot housed weapons and drugs in a specially designed hideout.

Specifically found:

  • 45 kilograms and 167.3 grams of cocaine, including -36- standardized packages bearing a different logo on the outside and inside to identify the quantities in question,
  • Kalashnikov assault rifle,
  • A gun with 2 magazines and
  • -149- bullets of various calibers.

As already mentioned, a 45-year-old foreign member was arrested who was involved in cocaine trafficking in the Attica basin and mainly in western Attica and northern suburbs. Kifissia, in whose possession is a nylon package containing 17.5 grams of cocaine.

According to the police, “the activity of the cocaine trafficking gang was revealed and their activity was stopped as a result of a systematic investigation, analysis and cross-checking of information, physical surveillance and verification of locations, details (profiles) of individuals. ), in the context of the wider operations of the above service to arrest traffickers” .

The arrested man was taken to the criminal prosecutor of Athens with a file filed against him for violating the law on drugs and weapons.
