OFI 1-1: Cretans under pressure but Felipe seals Greek Cup Betsson '8' ticket

OFI booked their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Betsan Hellenic Cup with a 4-2 aggregate scoreline, edging out Kifisia 1-1 in Kaisariani. Constantakopoulos worried the Cretans, but Philip equalized. OFI in “8”, with Panetoliko.

The match between Kifisia and OFI ended in a 1–1 draw, with the Cretans qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Betsan Greek Cup 4–2 on aggregate.

After a poor first half, Kifisia managed to score with Constantakopoulos in the 60th minute. He then put the pressure on Gretchens to level the aggregate score, but Mel's men sealed the “ticket” with Felipe's well-timed penalty shot at 90+3'.

OFI will face Panaitolikos in the quarter-finals, who earlier eliminated Athens Kallithea from the competition.

Competition

Chances were few in the first half. OFI had more of the ball in the first half of the 45th minute, while Kifisia on the other hand tried to pick up the pace, creating only few conditions for chances.

Kifisia piled the pressure on OFI and they had another good chance to equalize on aggregate in the 71st minute when Mazoura found Constantakopoulos in the area but he was late and eventually missed. A few minutes later, Anderegen stepped up to conditions in the area, there was no time to shoot and the Cretan defense was dislodged.
