An alarm was immediately sounded in the center of Athens, and the area was fortunately cordoned off, so the explosion at 1:29 caused only material damage, although according to eyewitnesses.
A bag of explosives was hanging from the wires of the Alpha Bank, located opposite the Labor Ministry building.
